Sound Supervisor Matt Bacon Includes Lectrosonics in his Recipe for Success -

"London, UK (May 7, 2015) — Lectrosonics caught up with Matt Bacon, one the UK's leading TV sound recordists, on the set of the hugely successful Great British Menu TV show, produced by Optomen for the BBC. Since 2005 Matt has been working as a freelance Sound Supervisor and Sound Recordist on television dramas, reality shows and documentaries as well as a variety of entertainment productions, including all ten series of Great British Menu."

Film and TV Sound Recordist Matt Bacon is currently working on the long running TV Cookery competition ‘The Great British Menu’, now in its tenth series. During a break in recording he mentioned his love of Van Damme Starquad microphone cable. “All the sound men I have worked with in the UK love Starquad. It stops the terrible hum from those lighting and camera guys with their power cables.” He laughed. He has even made up his own Starquad reels to keep it tidy."
